Impatiens: If You Can't Do It Fast, It's Not Worth Doing?

IMPATIENS

Some people are born thinking about their tasks the way the title of this post states it.  "If it can't be done fast, it just isn't worth doing."  Sometimes we just have days like this, even though it is not dominant in our over-all personality. The Bach Flower Remedies can be for personality types or for passing emotional states or moods. The Remedy, Impatiens, is both a type and and state/mood remedy.

In the Impatiens state you want to do it by yourself, because others slow you down. You are easily frustrated with others and even might note feelings and thoughts of intolerance for others who do not do it your way and in your time. (I am speaking from personal experience, so please do not think I am speaking down to any of us.  We all run through each of the remedy states  and need them all  AT LEAST once each in our lives.)

Impatiens is one of the five remedies in the combination remedy Rescue Remedy. That is one good reason to at least always have Rescue Remedy somewhere near you-- in you medicine cabinet or in the  glove compartment in your car--preferably both.

One of the beauties of the flower remedies that to me is best exemplified by Impatiens is that when you take the remedy, you are not changed, you are brought into balance with your true self. If you were born an Impatiens type person, taking the remedy will not slow you down, but it will cause you to be less frustrated with others and yourself, more tolerant of normal hold ups and glitches, and also your own work will be crafted  more meticulously, and with fewer mistakes that need to be re-worked. You might prefer "alone" but you will find the grace to work with others occasionally when needed.

Welcome to serenity, Impatiens type! Welcome to a more pleasant day for the rest of us who need this remedy, but only occasionally!
